First Farmer’s Market of 2011

We are getting ready to take baked goods, jams, jellies, and some produce to our first farmer’s market of 2011. This is on Saturday, May 14th in Carson City at the Greenhouse Garden Center at 2450 South Curry Street [map]. The Mini Farmer’s Market is open 9 am to 1 pm. Any questions, please call 775-882-8600. If you want to take a ride this weekend, come check out the Mini Farmer’s Market. If you do, please stop by our booth and say “Hi”.

“A Giant Step” Part Two: the second part of the two part lecture on America’s effort to put a man on the Moon. In this presentation Mike Thomas addresses the epic story of the Apollo Eleven Mission, which landed Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldren on the Moon in July 1969. This is a “don’t miss” program, especially for the younger generation who may not be familiar with this historic event. Presented by the Western Nevada Astronomical Society at the Jack C.
